"This is a beautiful course.
Walking down the 18th in the middle of this historic village reminds me of walking up the 18th at St. Andrews."

"Ardglass is one of the world's best courses.
The Members are fine, friendly gentlemen and women. I look forward to someday playing their fine course again, followed by a pint and bowl of soup upstairs.
Blessings and Friendship to our brothers across the big pond.

"Ardglass, amazing links golf, the most fun we had all week.
I can’t say enough about this gem of a course on our first trip to Ireland. We also played Portstewart, Royal County Down, Royal Portrush and The K Club. Ardglass was our favourite in so many ways.
A great walking course, we were shocked at the views on every hole the 18 challenging holes. Our excellent member forecaddy, Garry Shields’ course management, local knowledge humour made him our caddie pick of the week.
The 19th hole in the oldest clubhouse in the world with Mark, Garry a few other members topped off a perfect day.
We will save a lot of driving on our next Ireland trip by playing Ardglass and Royal County Down a few times instead.
The members say buying a membership even for a week trip will save you money.
Don’t play in Ireland without at least a forecaddy, well worth the few pounds.

"Ritornati in questo fantastico links con una calda accoglienza dal Captain e soci.
Ritorneremo e consigliamo a tutti la scoperta di questo campo "

"Simply amazing.
This is a course I could play every day and still be amazed by the scenery. The opening tee shot over jacked rocks and first green set among rock outcropping whet the appetite. The next three holes, stretching along a jagged coast, set the stage for one of the most amazing visual experiences in golf.
When we remarked about the stunning beauty, our caddies responded, "just wait. It gets better". It did.
Three holes in the middle of the course wrapped around a bay with a view of Van Morrisons Coney Island astounded us. We almost ran out of memory or our iPhones we took so many photos.
Ardglass is unquestionably among the most beautiful and stunning settings for golf course I have encountered. I would never make a trip to mega course Royal County Down without booking a time at this little known gem at the same time.
If you like straightforward fun golf in a setting that thrills, dont miss Ardglass. "

"Absolutely spectacular golf links.
Wonderfully hidden gem just up the coast from Newcastle. If your travels being you to County Down, you will be doing yourself a huge disservice to not tee it up at Ardglass. Breathtaking holes right on the sea, with fast and challenging greens. Tremendous caddies as well.
Played 3 ball in two hours forty - the way it should be.
Special thanks to Paul Vaughan Head Golf Professional and Jane in reservations office.
We will be back. "

"A surprising delight on our recent trip to Northern Ireland, the views are spectacular, the member staff hospitality is terrific, and the greens were some of the best putting surfaces we played all week.
Don't be fooled by the yardage, the front side which is 2950, par 34, played a lot closer to 3700 with the wind blowing briskly off the water.
In fact, the first 12 holes were the most difficult stretch of golf holes we experienced the entire trip--we most definitely will go back on our next trip.

"Dieser fantastische Links-Course war eine Reise wert. Es lohnt sich einen erfahrenen Cady zu buchen, dann spielt sich dieser tolle Platz viel besser.
Er machte mich auf die Tücken des wunderschön angelegten Platzes aufmerksam und half mir auch wenn nötig bei der Schlägerwahl.
Ich kann diesen Golfplatz nur empfehlen. "

Bruno Iten, Golfclub Küssnacht, Location: Switzerland

"Ardglass Golf Club plays much tougher than the yardage indicates. The wind wreaks havoc on the cliff-top setting.
It will never host a Walker Cup like Royal County Down or a British Open like Royal Portrush, but its still a top-of-the-line, must-play golf course in Northern Ireland.
The first tee shot is one youll remember all your life.
Its not a stretch to crown Ardglass Golf Club among the 10 most stunning seaside courses in the world, on par with the likes of Pebble Beach, the Old Head of Kinsale in southern Ireland and Cape Kidnappers Golf Course in New Zealand.
