“After playing Portrush and Portstewart I suggested to my wife that we complete our quick golf trip to a lesser known course to the south called Ardglass, which I had just finished reading about in Thomas Coynes book, “A Course Called Ireland”.
We were enjoying a challenging round of golf in typical links winds when my wife got her first eagle ever on the 14th hole.
As a result of this accomplishment and the celebratory Guinnesses at The Old Commercial Bar, again at Mr. Coynes recommendation, we came away from Ardglass on a high and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
For numerous reasons, therefore, Ardglass is one of my favorite golf courses in the world.
Thank you for a memorable day.
Sincerely,
